UnAmerican and NonHuman

Forgive me, but…
It seems to me that the slaughter in Gaza is much more than a simple narrative of colonization, but the outgrowth of the cartel of a globalized capitalist world that seeks to force the peoples between the river to the sea into nationalist states, either by extermination or grotesque line-drawing…

Maybe it is willful (invested) ignorance!?!
December 5, 2025 at 10:13 AM
There are so many “red flags” that suggest he is wedded to the racial-capitalist system and the animal-industrial and military complex

And even worse, the attention his campaign receives throws shade on any real movement towards total liberation

Though even they are destroying the air, water, & soil, rendering the very planet that sustains their life uninhabitable…

Perhaps this is the reason why they are so invested in exploring outer space and getting to Mars?

Starbucks and it’s model of exploitation is an abomination…

Unfortunately, in this country and the city of New York, it is not an aberration
December 4, 2025 at 5:17 PM
Oppression is no cure for repression

A country dragging and disappearing people off the streets has no business policing anyone else

No war with Venezuela!
December 4, 2025 at 4:13 PM
Maybe it is also time to boycott these American institutions that keep enabling and indeed empowering these world atrocities!
December 4, 2025 at 10:24 AM
A national of laws, like slavery and segregation?

Kidding aside, it doesn’t seem like the United States, of all nations, has much of moral right to exclude anyone given its history
December 3, 2025 at 9:45 PM
“Give me your tired, your poor
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest- tost to me…”

Too bad there is not more of that sentiment expressed by Emma Lazarus held in America
December 3, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Why not a primary? You would think the Democrats would want a Democracy…
December 3, 2025 at 9:21 PM
The fact is, a vote for Harris was representatively a vote for Trump, giving legitimacy to the imperialist system that ascribes him destructive power
December 3, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Maybe instead of “deregulating” they should de-corporatize healthcare

No one should be profiting off somebody’s sickness…

End the health insurance cartel!
December 3, 2025 at 7:30 PM
It is rare to find someone privileged enough not to be forced to participate in the capitalist system at all…

But if people can limit their consumption, and when they engage do it with resistance in their heart, it would be quite the victory in every instance!
December 3, 2025 at 3:14 PM
“Only nonviolent protest works”… if it awakens people to the oppressive institutional system that is consuming them?

Unfortunately, Americans have shown an amazing resilience to remain in such an abusive relationship
December 3, 2025 at 3:05 PM
At the same time, behind the derision is another valid concern about how the potential for in-fighting could derail a movement towards real change…
December 3, 2025 at 10:19 AM
You sure got a lot of backlash for a comment, whether made in good faith or not, that captures a serious concern about performative solidarity, career politics, and the limits/hazards of reforming an oppressive system such as aggressive capitalism from within
December 3, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Isn’t it the right/choice to have a trial by jury that they are seeking to abolish? I find that even more terrifying

The right to counsel, the right to have a human judge (as opposed to some kind of AI adjudication), what’s next?

Injustice is smooth and cheap
December 2, 2025 at 9:58 AM
Ah, the consumption of the carceral state, cannibalizing its own…
December 1, 2025 at 2:21 PM
So true! Happier animals and healthier people… what a world that would be!

How many signs do we need that a corporatized carnist diet and commodifying relationship with other animals is extremely harmful to everyone!?!
November 30, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Anyway, good luck! I think we both can agree that a Trump presidency makes the world a more dangerous place
November 30, 2025 at 6:51 PM
I know, but she wasn’t elected, Trump was elected. Thus, those that did vote for Harris ended upon conferring legitimacy upon him through the election.

Of course, we might wish the outcome was different, but that’s just a fact of history.
November 30, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Whatever the hypotheticals and what we wish could have been or be, it turns out a vote for Harris in 2024 was indeed a vote for Trump… she’s the one that authenticated his presidency, both figuratively and literally
November 30, 2025 at 6:38 PM
America, with its nuclear weapons, two oceans, and peaceful neighbors seems like the last country to be in danger of an invading aggressor

Indeed, historically, America’s military has caused more wars, killing more Americans, than any foreign adversary
November 30, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Unfortunately, the path of least resistance doesn’t seem to work…

Not extending legitimacy to the institutions that empower Trump is a stronger form of resistance
