Very accurate as to the general feeling here. But lots of folks can't leave (or can hang on a bit longer). I hope the general election next year will help to shift this dark cloud.

The show raises lots of interesting questions (many already discussed in other fine #pluribus threads)! I am curious if sentience helps or hinders their [obligate symbiont/pathogen] decision-making. I'm guessing the latter, evidenced by DHL individual's very expressive faces while chatting w/ Carol.

Definitely disappointing news, yet I am glad we are still seeing news about low-performance trials. I desperately wish other fields of research were as open about 'negative results'!
