Tonight brings the first full moon of summer: the Hay Moon 🌕🌾

Named by Anglo-Saxons for the hay harvest, it’s also called the ‘Buck Moon’, a Native American name marking the time young deer bucks grow new antlers.

Celts knew it as the Wyrt or Mead Moon, for herb gathering.

Was recently at a gig at the Crowbar where security shut it down early, turned on all the lights and stopped the music.
There sure is a dire need for more 80-150 capacity venues, but I'm really put off by that experience + the cost to hire it means there's a lot of pressure to sell out or lose out.
