È incredibile come alcune riviste pur di fare clickbait anti-ai continuino a rilanciare questa notizia errata, dato che Miyazaki non parlava di AI generative, che nemmeno esistevano al momento della dichiarazione.

The truth is that many creatives in every field find these tools useful and will continue to adopt them. For now, many professionals use AI discreetly, fearing industry pushback, but once a critical mass is reached, the taboo will inevitably collapse.

I had missed this embarrassing controversy over the creative use of AI in The Brutalist. An application that is, in reality, quite modest—yet the scarlet letter of technological innovation remains intolerable. As Drotner described, media panic is as relentless as ever.

One thing we can say to those who were in despair over cancel culture: your predictions were wrong. The ones who got it right were those who argued that those controversies were actually defending a far-right movement that would eventually impose its own censorship.
