I voted in 1972 for Gough. It was the first time I had voted. I was full of optimism and felt I was really part of making a better Australia. I don’t think I ever really recovered from the Dismissal or the Fraser election. I can’t describe my feelings for the current ALP government.

I have worked predominantly with victims of crime SA & FDV - it can’t be emphasised enough. 4x my notes have been subpoenaed.

Absolutely - we drum this into counselling students. I have had my notes subpoenaed so I’m strong on accurate and timely clinical note taking and disclosure on when confidentiality can’t be extended.

Back when newspapers did a different job there used to be a kind of “follow up” column in The West Australian. It was great. I can imagine this entire list would require additional column space!

Yes, to aligned to original principles and values for today’s ALP.

That’s a really interesting legal requirement. I can understand some of the reasoning, but do you find it strange that a country with a history of slavery finds this acceptable? It lets politicians off the hook for resolving issues and puts all the pressure on the powerless employee.

Why wouldn’t the Democrats say they’d protect the jobs and wages, and encourage them to stop work? Even if you showed up and didn’t work. I’d rather start doing stuff in the gig economy in the interim.

I don’t get this. Why work if you are not being paid? Surely there is no legal obligation to continue working. I would unionise in a flash.

Trump has sent a clear message that the US cannot be trusted. It will take more than one term of government to rectify the damage. Just when the generation who felt US profiteered and delayed entering WWII are fading away.

This is like being pinged on an Oxford comma in your thesis - if that’s the worst you can come up with …. I’m good.

Should add the language was beautiful and very descriptive. No critical thought demonstrated.

Our uni all gender loo is closest to the classrooms so of course it is the most frequented. Doesn’t seem to be an issue. The binary loos are around the corner.

Sample size of 2. This is me as well. When least concerned with my body, living in the present and enjoying my self I am my lightest - mentally & physically.

Years ago when I did my undergrad I wanted to work as a medical counsellor due to lived experience. I had read about them attached to hospitals to support clients & families with difficult diagnoses. Unfortunately no opportunities in Aus so I ended up working with trauma. There is a need.
