Okay so I MAY have just watched my hot wife dance around the apartment wearing Apollo Creeds robe from the first movie. I really don’t need a third kid at my age

New Jeff Buckley documentary? Ugh. Buddy dated the woman who shot a famous pic of him and she was an asshole. Every other sentence was "Well when Jeff...". She met him once, so now I'll say shitty things. He had a pretty voice. He made a dumbshit decision, then he drowned. Now he's dead. The end.

I'm still thinking about "Train Dreams". Maybe because I am such a big Denis Johnson fan but it's also a lovely film of its own accord. Going to watch this one again soon.

Fuck it, fine. As of today I am no longer serving as Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, and Sovereign of the State of Vatican City. I resign as the Pope.

Taking our 12yo to a 70MM awards screening of Sinners this week as I think it is important that she see it in the correct format. It'll be a good memory for her to have

Ask Joe Burrow if Baker Mayfield is too short to play QB in the NFL

Bought a ticket to see the Kill Bill assemblage in 70MM this Friday. Kinda pissed, tbh, that I'm not seeing it in this form the first time around. Screw Harvey Weinstein and QT both for doing us dirty like this. Was always one movie.

Did a rewatch of Train Dreams while waiting for E and yeah, what a beautiful poem. @rototudor.bsky.social think it's one you should see
Gonna watch "Wake Up Dead Man" tonight. Don't love the series tbh but will approach it with openness

Holy shit this song goes hard
I'm just going to post this song as often as possible until it's sweeping the nation. I want to hear this playing in supermarkets.

Art teacher showed up late and banged up AF. Is now giving a bunch of 8-10 year olds a master class. Guy is in an all time art teacher heater. #Hero

Hobby's served me a "Thanksgiving Knish" that may be one of the best things I ever tasted
December 5, 2025 at 9:03 PM
Going to Hobby's Deli for lunch today and am going to eat like a guy whose lunches aren't going to be paid for much longer

So yeah, we wrapped. I'm unemployed. It's cold in NYC. This is the part where someone needs to pay me to go make a movie someplace warm, preferably near beaches and great food
Welp that's a wrap. Think we made a good one. My part is outstanding. You can decide next November

The NYC high school admissions process is insane. That said the idea of my kid attending one of the top public schools in the city is so appealing I see why people get nuts about this
Great article describing the NYC public high school application process I have begun with our oldest. It's incredibly difficult *but* I'm pretty good at getting what I want. The big question is what does she (and therefore I) want. TLDR: this shit is bonkers

Wow even Pantone is sucking up to Trump, announcing that the color of the year is "white"? SMDH
Pantone’s 2026 color of the year is technically not a color at all — meet Cloud Dancer, the first-ever white shade to receive the designation from the world’s color authority.
Pantone makes a surprising choice for its 2026 color of the year
We did not see that coming.

This man may be the most racist president this country has ever had, and twelve presidents owned slaves
Trump: "It’s a hellhole right now. And those Somalians should be out of here. They've destroyed our country. And all they do is complain, complain, complain. You have her. She’s always talking about the Constitution provides me with – go back to your own country and figure out your constitution."

If the Hegseth number for tonight is one liter of whiskey I am hammering the over with every dollar I have available

Went on a date w a woman who got indignant when I tried to pay. I said I should as I asked her out, she told me she made more money and anyway wasn't going to fuck me just because I paid. Said I never expected that and who should pay if I never wanted to see her again. She paid and I escaped
Yes where else could men possibly receive this scorching insight

Has no one pointed out the fact that "The fog of war" is a fucking metaphor which Hegseth cited in a literal sense? He stated that he could not see the survivors because of smoke and fire from the impact, "the fog of war". We are governed by complete idiots
