great #haiku by Matthew Rye chosen as an HM in last month's @haikufound.bsky.social monthly kukai. impressive use of language, great juxtaposition between dark and light, and unique perspective on a very common scene.

some great poems came out of the 2025 Hexapod Haiku Challenge -- especially this fun one by Danish Yumnam in the 13-17 category:

was reading through the Autumn 2023 issue of Frogpond and came across this gem by @jeromeberglund.bsky.social. great line choice and imagery, and it creates a sense of adventure that starts just as the poem ends -- more of a beginning than an ending. for sure one of the best of the issue.

check out this profoundly melancholic #haiku by Tony Williams in the latest Solitary Daisy newsletter. powerful and well-written, and man will it ruin your day.

Amazone Prime members - watch out for this #phishing email claiming your payment method is expired. The email looks legit and doesn't have any of the usual spelling/grammar mistakes. ("From" address isn't Amazon, though.)

some great #haiku in last month's @haikufound.bsky.social kukai, but this one by Nitu Yumnam is so powerful and skillfully presented.
