Katabasis was good. I do feel it was missing something though. I wanted more atmosphere maybe? Things also felt like they worked out too easily. I’m also not partial to all the jumping back and forth in time. Next I’m getting into the Halloween spirit with some horror: The Unworthy. 12/?? For 2025

We inherited a bookshelf from hub’s grandma. And the cats LOVE it. There’s a little nook in the top that they cozy up in 😭 we put a blanket up there too for extra comfort. It’s their new favorite spot

Forgot to post my next read! I’m now reading Katabasis by RF Kuang, and I randomly got super lucky and picked up a signed copy at the store without even realizing it was a signed copy! 11/?? Also Interview with the Vampire was good, but I felt like I was experiencing a movie rather than a book idk??

Hi friends 😬 I didn’t realize it’s been like two weeks since I logged in. Things have been BUSY. Went to a national park, had a family reunion, had a funeral, work went off the rails etc etc. But here’s some pretty pics from the national park!!

Despite my family’s attempts at ruining my bday, I am officially thirty, flirty, and thriving. @almablau.social made sure I had the best day ever. If you can’t tell I was a massive fan of the movie 13 Going on 30 as a kid, so I had to wear the dress (better pics of the nails in the comments)

We biked 4.5 miles and then Aaron’s tire went flat, so we had to walk the bikes pretty much the entire way back 😅 at least it’s a gorgeous day
