Why are the global European players too blind to see that true innovation will be driven from the foundational level, not just from applied engineering?

Participating in annual reviews this year, and it occurs to me that the process now mostly consists of groups of employees using various vendors’ LLMs to populate another vendor’s database.

Okay, this is what I'm here for. Using the same surgery they used to create Golden Gate Claude, Anthropic has mapped the concept of "inner conflict" in latent space. It's not one idea. It's a whole cloud of related issues: mixed feelings, tradeoffs, conflicting interests, paradoxes, &c. +
