One hour left to go, but we’ve been driving in the snow for three hours. At least the Midwest knows how to handle ice…. Only one truck in the ditch so far.

Leaving our Tennessee Thanksgiving early today to make sure we’re back in Michigan for Advent 1 on Sunday. We’re projected to get 8-11 inches of snow this weekend.

Prayers for safe driving welcome. 📕
A lot of snow, rain and cold weather await travelers for the rest of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, with winter storm warnings posted Friday across the northern part of the country and more snow falling over the Great Lakes region. https://to.pbs.org/4irQW3F

Elon Musk and the Trump administration gleefully shutting down USAID “has already caused the deaths of six hundred thousand people, two-thirds of them children.”

People throw around terms like genocide quite freely online but it’s hard to find other words to describe this level of man-made death.

I don’t think you understand how hard it is to explain to two very uninterested kids how important it is for mom and dad to see Long Island’s own Busta Rhymes perform with the Ninja Turtles at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

I have a 30+ year history with this game, even went to it with Abbey back in 2012, but living in Michigan again, the Thanksgiving Lions loss tradition still hurts too much. Should’ve gone with the Dog Show.

This morning, Macy’s gave us Busta Rhymes and the Ninja Turtles, followed by Lil Jon and Toys R Us. I feel specifically targeted here. 😂 Happy Thanksgiving!

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Again, the existential question hanging over the AI boom — which makes the biggest deal out of generative AI instead of, say, medical uses — has been: why are we pouring so much money into this?

Musk’s answer here seems to be, at least partially, something like “to degrade your friends at parties.”
Everything about this might be the saddest thing I’ve ever seen

The reality of having Leeds United back in the Premier League is somewhat bleak… I have to cheer for teams like Chelsea to stomp teams like Burnley just so that Leeds can stay up. It feels like betraying my underdog morals on a weekly basis. 🤷‍♂️ #mot

Privileged to hear Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe speak at our diocesan convention today. When asked for parting advice, he simply said, “I’m not the first to say it, but seek first the kingdom… and all the other things will come.” About cried. Really, really great.
