I’m glad you touched on this because I feel like all I’ve been hearing about Chelsea is their amazing form when it seems pretty normal. Also there is a bigger gap between us and Chelsea than Chelsea’s gap to 11th so 2nd ain’t that impressive either.

I think Viktor’s injury is worse than they’re letting on. I hope I’m wrong but the fact he wasn’t even at the Bayern game (I think?) is concerning.

I felt that yesterday as well, like very passive aggressive towards Arsenal. People are weird about us.

They also lost Trent, Diaz, and Nunez. Fans including Liverpool fans seem to not acknowledge that they lost one of the best passers in the world, a great winger, and someone who is not a great finisher but brought chaos when needed. Even with all that in mind, they are just defensively terrible.

People also don’t even watch Arsenal, they just regurgitate the “jokes” they hear like “Champagne Stoke”. If you watch that second half against Bayern and say we play boring football then you don’t like football.

It’s amazing how people say we a team that has scored 7 goals in the last two games is a worse watch than the team that has conceded 7 in the last two. Narratives are an interesting thing, aren’t they?

People can’t be logical when talking about Arsenal. They just throw out the buzz words that they’ve heard over the past couple of years because they don’t have an actual critique of us.
