@kcarr2015 I'll be frank: I did not like this movie. I found the whole production to be shallow and frankly more than a little tone-deaf.

You know what was great?

Judas and the Black Messiah. That movie exemplified the qualities I found absent in this one.

I want to add that I only learned during the credits that this is based on a Thomas Pynchon novel. If I'd known that, I wouldn't have bothered.

I'm gonna go on the record here: Thomas Pynchon is one of the most overhyped authors I've ever encountered. No disrespect intended. I'm just not a fan.

The trailer is the whole movie. There is no commentary on fascism or antifascist #revolution. It's just code words, slick visuals, and a lot of janky piano. There's barely even a plot.
