It's not a foolproof plan but every political debate from now on should be a Normal Guy competition. Ask them to describe grocery shopping in detail. Talk about what it's like to have a friend

Oh no. I was looking for a new 3-in-1 phone charger for my nightstand and then clicked on the Cyber Monday link on the Best Buy website. I'm cheap but I do like gadgets. 🫣😀

As someone who runs a portrait photography business and a small art gallery, this really hits. I don't have the same supply problems as others, but it is just so obvious that people are being incredibly cautious about their spending.
While American families are expected to pay more for goods this holiday season due to Donald Trump’s tariffs, small-business owners are facing an existential crisis, Annie Lowrey reports:
Donald Trump’s War on Christmas
It’s a bad year for shoppers. It’s a terrible year for small-business owners.

If he’s the subject of a New Yorker article then he’s not really a “cancelled performer” is he?
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

Louis C.K.’s Next Chapter
In a new standup special, and a début novel, the comedian navigates murky, post-#MeToo terrain: not quite exiled, not quite welcomed back.

People need to start going to jail.
Beyond depraved: "Hours after her detainment, court documents obtained by ABC News show that a federal judge ordered the government not to remove the 19-year-old from the U.S. and not to transfer her outside of Massachusetts. But Lopez Belloza was deported to Honduras the next day."

My new dentist office wants me to confirm an appointment by phone (a call not a text) and I think that’s a death penalty offense.

Do you KNOW the expenditure of energy for me to talk on the phone?
