She won multiple awards and was most recently nominated for the prestigious WORTMELDUNGEN literature prize. Her new book R-O-N=O deals with transsexual aesthetics of death, and Furry, and was awarded the literary grand prize of the German Literature Fund.

Although it wasn't about my field of study, which, ironically is biology, I had a great time watching all the presentations at @furrystudies.org ! These presentations really shed new light on what it means to be a furry
