We were visited by a member of the Cooke family whose ancestor Tom made the Boer War Christmas card currently on display. It was made from a square of khaki uniform & decorated with the regimental mascot. Family donations help tell the regimental story.

We remember the 85th anniversary of the evacuation of 338,000 troops from the beaches of Dunkirk between 26th May - 4th June 1940. Operation Dynamo was to become one of the critical turning points of WW2. Churchill called it the ‘ miracle of deliverance’.
