So anyways, thanks for letting me give y’all an update on what’s been going on in my life. As always, this is a queer safe space, fuck that decrepit Cheeto puff in the Wh*te House, and ¡Viva México, cabrones! 🇲🇽♥️

And I know I don’t need to prove to anyone whether I’m Mexican or not. But my dad was born & raised in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. My grandparents from both my mom & dad are from Mexico. I grew up in my Mexican household speaking Spanish. I am Mexican!

I got the email saying I was officially a Mexican citizen towards the end of October & just Monday this week, I received my official documents in the mail. I wish my mom was here to celebrate together. But I know she’s proud of me. I’m proud of myself. ♥️🇲🇽🥹

And lastly, for the past year, I’ve been working on obtaining dual citizenship. I was born here in the US, but my family is from Mexico. I started working towards this last year at the end of November, beginning of December. Almost a year later (11 months), I finally became a Mexican citizen. 🇲🇽

Just recently, my husband had a small procedure to check his heart. His family has a history of bad heart conditions, diabetes, etc. Unfortunately, he has all of it, but the good news is, everything was fine with this procedure & no additional stents or surgery is needed. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Something else that happened was that my sister got married. She asked me to walk her down the aisle. It wasn’t a big wedding or anything, but she’s happy and honestly, that’s all that matters to me. I have two siblings & now all three of us are married. 💍💍💍

So I finally decided that I needed to just chop it off and get me a new hairstyle. When she cut it, we measured & it was 8” 😏 long. But I couldn’t be happier with how my hair looks & I love styling it now. That was a fun moment for sure!

I also cut my hair! 💇🏻‍♂️ I started growing it out at the start of the pandemic. I wanted it to be silver and long. Eventually, I stuck to blonde for a bit before going back to my dark brown hair. But I would always put it in a bun. I never actually wore it down.

I was at 230-235 lbs. and now I’m sitting around 185-190 lbs. I don’t know if that is a big accomplishment or not, but I know I’m happy with myself. I don’t necessarily care to be skinny, just healthier… and maybe start working out to gain a little muscle. 😝
