A large part of the white electorate votes so that bad things can happen to others and they don’t care until something affects them.
Once white people learn to vote to help themselves and not hurt “others” this country will experience a seismic shift.

I guess one of the reason I have some level of hope for the future is that I know we haven’t actually even attempted to address root cause issues, so it’s not like we tried and failed. There’s so much more work that *can* be done.
