Where was it from out of interest?

Maybe a Dutch bird? The scheme at reference 2269B on the International Wader Study Group's projects register spreadsheet seems to fit - click the link to it from here www.waderstudygroup.org/projects/col...

A nudge to ringers to reply to ring-readers would be welcome too - I've still to hear back on a ringed Sandwich Tern I reported two years ago!

I also got a few rings read including this Greylag at Blönduós, which has been seen in Orkney since being ringed in #iceland in 2024.

One of those would be a good find here! @kanebrides.bsky.social - I got a second Windermere bird at SCP this week (you may already have seen).
g76birder.bsky.social
Interesting possibility. I've only had one other Windermere bird here. The GPS tags project sounds very interesting. Several "new" Slimbridge birds here too. I'll send you details at the end of the season.
g76birder.bsky.social
Slimbridge Greylags currently starting to appear at Strathclyde Loch and Hogganfield for their annual moult migration, among them, unusually, this one ringed at Windermere
