Indeed, I was late 30s when I got to a doctor who did more than just prescribe Ventolin and put me on a reliever. A few years later I did the drug trial precisely because of the promise that at the end they would give me a thorough assessment and recommendations for treatment.

More than 20 years ago I took part in an asthma drug trial, at the end of which the doctor in charge recommended a preventive med called Seretide. It was a revelation for me, greatly reducing Ventolin use. My docs have now put me on an AZ product called Symbicort, which seems very good so far.

Listening to the audiobook of The Cut Throat Trial by @barristersecret.bsky.social, I have just finished chapter 15 in which Baxter Wyatt KC f***s up big time in relation to a prosecution witness. Does this kind of thing happen for real?

I am very much enjoying, totally engaged with this trial.
