After a wonderful 12 days of catching up with friends and family from Newcastle to Beaconsfield via Porthcawl, it’s time to head home. Today’s chariot is an 11 yr old B777-336(ER) with reg G-STBG operating as BA115 LHR-NYC. First time on this aircraft despite having flown with many of her siblings!

We’ve been following this BA A350 from PHL the whole way home. Fun fact is that I’ve never flown on a BA A350 (although have flown on A350s with other airlines - AY/QR/CX) so maybe I should pop down to Philly and give it a go next time!

Currently sat at JFK watching the thunderstorm while I wait to board the BA176 to LHR! Tonight’s flight is on a 28-yr-old Boeing 777-236(ER) with reg G-VIIG who I last flew on in November 2022! Here’s to getting some rest before driving to Wales in the morning! 🙏🏼

After a lovely few days with my family in Wales, it’s time to head home to NYC onboard the exact same aircraft that brought me to LHR from IAD last week and, in fact, my fourth time on this exact aircraft. 🙌🏼 She’s a 4-yr-old Boeing 777-300(ER) with reg G-STBM operating as BA177 LHR-JFK. Let’s fly! ✈️

This evening’s flight with British Airways from IAD-LHR is on this 4-yr-old Boeing 777-300(ER) with reg G-STBM operating as BA216. Third time flying on this beauty for me, the last being a JFK-LHR almost two years ago. It’s a non-work flight so it’s a flat bed for me! 🙌🏼

Heading down to DCA from LGA this morning on this 11 yr old American Eagle Embraer E175LR with reg N422YX operating as AA4371. Aside from when it’s super bumpy, this is one of my favorite aircraft as a passenger. Sitting in 3A today which is a solo seat. 🙌🏼 Let’s fly! ✈️

I’ve moved to my “buddy” seat as I’m reading and prefer to be more upright. Champagne is the Veuve Cliquot “La Grande Dame” which imho is so much nicer than LPGS! (Sorry @speedbirdjulie.bsky.social !!!)
