Children and teenagers NEED that. The knowledge, the feeling, that there is more out there, outside from the very small limited bubble they grew up in. Because not all of them will find a fulfilling life within that limited bubble. If they don't explore, don't believe, they drown.

A situation unbearably gnarly - people doing something about it - it improving to the point it lost its horror - people growing up without knowing how bad it can be - then doing shit like freebirth / anti-vaxx only to be like whoops "I didn't know how gnarly it can be"
