Autism typically presents in toddlers. Often around the same time the MMR is given. It is very hard for a parent with a sunny engaged child who seems to drift away into a place they cannot reach not to look for causes. Correlation is not causation, but when it is your child you want a “why”.

Had Trump had an iota of organization or intelligence he could have leveraged the pandemic. Instead it was an albatross. Bullies & authoritarians thrive in chaos. It’s why Giuliani & Cuomo did well. Only when the dust settles & people feel safe enough to question things does it go south for them.

Exactly. Murder is awful, wrong and illegal. I don’t understand why people do it. In this case *nobody* knows *who* or *why* The fact of it has had some beneficiaries. This is not to say they were behind it, but rather its awful truth benefitted their goals, narrative, & policies.
