An interesting detail of PL design that I hadn't really appreciated before because it only *really* maters in IDEs: Given a constructor call like `MyClass(a, b)`, the token `MyClass` is a reference to two different definitions: the class itself, and the constructor.

every now and then i'm like "maybe i'm too hard on arm64 windows, it's real, it's been so long" and then someone is like "we need to prefer installing and running x64 cpython on arm64 windows because no one compiles wheels for it, which makes native a more broken experience than emulated"

honestly do not know how people go to confs without looking like a weirdo queer, it is SO CONVENIENT for people to constantly walk up and be like "hi i know you" and i wait patiently for them to reveal a detail for me to remember them (sorry to everyone whose names and faces i instantly forget)
