We managed to get OCAKE, a post-quantum candidate PAKE, running with ML-KEM on a super tiny chip that is built for ECC and used today in real passports/ID cards. It was faster than we thought it would be!
Next-gen chips with dedicated support will be even faster 🚀

I gave a talk at the NIST Crypto Agility workshop last week, the slides are now online:

I wanted to get across that further (protocol) standardization still needs to happen in many places, and not reinventing the wheel will make agility easier and PQC migration faster.
