I generally avoid individual error leading to high profile event analysis because it tends to lead you astray and ignores also all the events that led up to the big mistake.

The #NHLJets lose to Carolina in Ehlers’ return, but the numbers suggest not all is lost.
#GoJetsGo won the chance battle at 5v5 against one of the best teams in the NHL. Special teams and a rough night for the third pair made the difference.

The Jets have been worse defensively with him on the ice than off, but the model is suggesting it's all on the players he mostly plays with.
I think a lot of it extends because how bad the Jets 3rd pairing has been, so Stanley/Fleury look elevated by him.

The "take a 37 year old who hasn't played for 2 years due to health and was struggling his last season" and gift the 2C spot experiment hasn't gone well.
