I love how we need a cutting-edge research to state the obvious experiential and observable phenomena. Here “we” are, arguing about Intelligence in AIs, classical systems that are inherently computable, unconscious and yet people are getting married to it or call its output art. Oh well
Cutting-edge research shows language is not the same as intelligence. The entire AI bubble is built on ignoring it.

Seeing a bunch of Pluribus takes from 18 - 20yo terminally online hammer-and-sickle-in-bio communists, accusing it of being anti communist Hollywood propaganda, and I too remember being very politically motivated but also dumb as fucking shit. It's a well meaning but rough age.
