Both Disney and Nexstar, which was about to pre-empt the Kimmel show after Federal Communications Commission Chair Carr complained, both have big transactions before the Department of Justice and the FCC. Keep an eye not only on what Carr says, but what the FCC does.

I wonder if the $2B that Shari Redstone takes away from the likely soon-to-be FCC approved sale of Paramount to Skydance is worth selling the soul of the "Tiffany" network. I don't think so. Perhaps Paramount's shareholders won't either.
