Strip mining tar sands will take us all down as global warming accelerates, so I'm not sure this is going to be beneficial in the long run

Although their 2024 profit was $170G so if they divided that among 1.6M workers everyone would get a $100k raise. Even if they made $80G profit, everyone could get a $50k raise.
