Nearly half of students feel like outsiders at school.

Number 1 on the Student Inclusion Index looks at the importance of belonging. Of the 13,000 students surveyed, only 53.2% agree that they felt like they belonged at school.

Higher belonging scores correlate with stronger retention and wellbeing. Yet key findings from our 26,000 Voice report show that only 37% of staff felt that school culture actively promotes inclusion.
