I am confused RE the short rows because the way the pattern is written it sounds like they are on both sides, which is odd. #knitsky can you help?

Oh dearest #knitsky riddle me this: I have some basic cable experience (hats), but I feel up to a challenge. In a head-to-head matchup, would you be more likely to select the book club cardigan by #sarinordland or three seasons cardigan by #woolandpine or some third less mad option?

Day 6, ball 1/10 done. There are 10” of positive ease in this sweater and even though my size is right on target I’m feeling skittish. Wish me luck! Love the colorway.
