That's a long gap for the soaps. Looks like Corrie showed a double episode before getting shut down

20 years ago I was running a blog about the animals from Douglas Adams' book "Last Chance to See". We raised some $$$ to adopt a 3-year old Mountain Gorilla called Urwibutso. How he has grown!!! Check out this video from the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund youtu.be/UHbZnktMvhw

Choose 25 #DoctorWho stories that have stayed with you or influenced you. 1/day for 25 days.

3: Phantasmagoria (1999)
Only the second Doctor Who story from audio producers Big Finish, but writer Mark Gatiss delivers a superb script, set in 1702 London. David Ryall chews the scenery as the villain.

2: The Talons of Weng-Chiang (1977)
One of the first stories I got on VHS. Loved the Victorian London setting, and I adore that Jago and Litefoot got a very splendid long running audio spinoff

Read the foil covered Target novelization on the train home from London the week before it even aired.

Wish I could find a real cup of tea at work. These definitely don't taste like tea.

Yeah, I've listened to that a few times over the years, and paid a visit to Grover's Mill a few years ago too.

I love Steed's line in Death at Bargain Prices. "Our Mrs. Peel is in ladies underwear. I rattled up the stairs three at a time!"

Another TV tie-in book for my growing collection. The first "Steptoe & Son" novelization was shipped to me from Australia, just like "Steptoe & Son at the Palace" was. It's in very good condition. Partial collection shown.

@philadelphiaunion.com Who programmed the MLS app? How hard is this? The standings show that we tied today's game before we even play it. #doop

I'm on a vintage telly book phase at the minute. They make for quick easy reads when you know the characters well, and make me laugh.

I like the new MLS Mobile app a lot better than the old one. The AI chat bot is an interesting development, but I don't care for the LineUps page changing based on who *ended* the game rather than who *started*. Seems.... weird. #doop
