Look, the light pollution in Aurora is usually such that we can't see the aurora.
But since today is the anniversary of my sister's death, I'll take this haunting personally.

... that I walked into my local thrift a few days later, and found this unlikely thing. An Adult Men's version of Link's costume, which is far too large for many humans, but which has the dubious honor of being the right color and pattern for the tunic.

So, for my birthday, I finished building this greenhouse.

It's a conversion of a rundown gazebo the house came with. I used a combination of new and scrap materials. Including building a door from scratch, because the structure is a nonstandard height.

I'm not sure what I did with my "before" photos, but here's my gazebo-to-greenhouse project, with all but one wall finished (the last wall needs a doorframe first)

The gazebo wasn't quite even on any side, so adding supports and cutting polycarbonate sheets is a challenge.
