Just opened a merge request in @gitlab.com to fix a small UI bug as a birthday gift to myself, 7 years after contributing to GitLab for the first time.

It matters more than I'm giving credit for. That's why I'm advising companies to bring a cloud like experience to the local laptop. That could mean cloud hosted control planes, with the data plane running locally. It can be the best of both worlds. Docker Desktop is attempting to do this.
