It's cool how we keep proving over and over and over again that there's a significant market for narrative-heavy, character-driven, single-player experiences in video games and publishers just categorically refuse to believe us
In my Ivalice Chronicles playthrough I did spread out my grind a little. But sooner or later, the open plains call you back.
I understand why people think grinding Mandalia Plains in Final Fantasy Tactics is a bad idea that sucks the life out of the game, but I simply disagree. aftermath.site/final-fantasy-...

Some of my favorite QoL updates in the enhanced mode make key info and customization options more available and accessible. Knowing what jobs unlock others. Kitting out the party for a specific battle as it begins. Just enjoying the game with fewer obstacles to fun.

The Final Fantasy Tactics remaster is shaping up to be a great way to access and enjoy a true classic.
The QoL improvements may not convert a tactics non believer, but they'll make someone's first (or fortieth) time through Ivalice all the more immersive and fun
