I’d bought tickets for Mica Paris’s gig in Watford last night - & although it was more convenient than going to see Mica Watford in Paris, I was tired & decided to stay in. Except I last-minute changed my mind. And a good job too, because every last person was needed. www.patreon.com/posts/144631...

Second-placed Manchester City have 25 points. Only one of the last 11 Premier League champions has had fewer than 28 points after 13 matches of their title-winning seasons (Man City had 23 at this stage in the COVID impacted 2020-21 season).

In Arsenal’s last five games, Mikel Merino has three goals and two assists.

Arsenal have scored 13 goals, 11 of them from open play.

The attack is firing, and so is Merino.

Even with players back, is he now a genuine option at No9?

And I’m not just seeing it on the idiot fringe.

The combination of missing both CBs and the flurry of early yellows meant a much more cautious Arsenal than you'd like, especially when playing against 10, but it's understandable.

Throw in a few players not really being at it and a point isn't great but it's ok.
