The thing I didn’t understand is that I wasn’t sure what people thought the alternatives were?

If Hall and Tino are injured, who else is going to play at left full back? It’s not like he gets picked over them there if they’re fit, is it?

It’s the same with Burn. People losing their crap cos he’s playing left back, or just playing full stop, when he’s been part of the best defence in the league so far this season. We’ve only conceded in two games!

Oh I’m not defending their policies, on the whole they set us down a slippery slope. My wife works in academia, I’m well aware of the issues facing the sector right now and what the root causes of it all are - but creating a flawed system isn’t the same as demonising it, which is Badenoch’s play.
