Yes I do too. The Industar is particularly prone to a bit of flare.

If only those bricks could talk. The stories they may tell.

I like the way the structure vanishes into the mists.

Love this one Andrew. The small lone figure just makes for a brilliant photograph.

‘Escape to the sun’. Yet more #SlowPhotography with a Zenit B, Leningrad meter and Delta 400 film, but this time using the tiny Industar 50mm lens. The unintentional lens flare adds to this one. #blackandwhitephotography #BelieveInFilm #filmphotography #photography #filmisnotdead
A black and white photograph showing an aircraft rising into the sky above. The sun creating a flare of light to the right hand side of the picture with a barbed wire topped fence and bushes in the foreground. White clouds bubble up from the bottom of the picture.

Wonderful leading lines, tones and above all else atmosphere.

Love it Sam… my kind of place.

Thank you Deborah, it’s very kind of you to comment and it means a lot to me. I’m trying to do something (for me) a little different with these images. Slowing the process of making an image down. Forcing myself to look longer and take my time.

My Zenit B is 1970 and was my wife‘s camera for Art college but I love to use it and it has sort of become mine.

More #SlowPhotography with a Zenit B, again with the Meyer Optik Orestegor 200mm lens, Leningrad meter and Delta 400 film. The 200mm lens was at full stretch with this one. #blackandwhitephotography #BelieveInFilm #filmphotography #photography #filmisnotdead
A black and white photograph looking over a river at an industrial complex with many chimneys and cooling towers. In the foreground sits a steel gantry and bushes. Sunlight catches the river on the left hand side of the picture.

More #SlowPhotography with a Zenit B, and this time a Meyer Optik Orestegor 200mm lens, Leningrad meter and Delta 400 film. I found the light illuminating the leaves in the wood made a good subject. #blackandwhitephotography #BelieveInFilm #filmphotography #photography #filmisnotdead
A black and white photograph of leaves and fine branches caught in a patch of sunlight in a wooded area. The background is dark and out of focus but the leaves are illuminated by the sun.

Lovely set of pictures and I particularly like the figures in the rain.

Wow! Terrific. Much weather up there. Love the image Jevon.

Subtle tones and serenity.

Thanks Stig and for recommending the Ilford Delta 400.

I would use the Delta again.

Out for some #SlowPhotography with a Zenit B, Meyer Optik Helios 44mm lens, Leningrad meter and Delta 400 film (first time for this film). Thanks @stigofthedump.bsky.social for the advice. #blackandwhitephotography #BelieveInFilm #filmphotography #photography #filmisnotdead
A black and white photograph of Speke Hall, a National Trust property in Liverpool. The picture shows a Tudor style building caught in sunlight with deep shadows in the foreground and silhouetted leaves above.
