I just went to my first one, solo. Didn't know a soul in the fandom but made a friend with another first timer. Say hi to those in lines/events with you and you'll get adopted by another Earper. Bring snacks. Lol. Earp cons are a lot less nerve wracking than you think, everyone is friendly.
