I am impressed. The #learning of such has driven men mad a yet you resolve yourself further. Maybe you didn’t call them after all, but not knowing any other words it was all you could say to the universe. No matter, Whateley, we sail now and take a step closer to finding the book.

The conundrum…to understand a wave one must know the ocean, but she holds her secrets in each breaker never speaking again.

#learning is a safe place, my haven in stormy times. Waves can break and thunder and skies broil in gray portent, and I will fear the world a little less because I will understand it a little better. And I will learn to forgive all that made me fear. #vss365

A gentle grace settled around
Feather light and as thin as breath
Blooming in cold air a soft sound
Promising times not yet bereft
And a thousand clouds do resound
Joy will return in what time’s left

I am supposed to be many things
Yet am this, me, this what I am
And sometimes I look upon those things
And wonder am I or them the sham
On my darker days I look and stare
And then when light dawns I just don’t care
But I wander between morn and night
Both sun and moon, lost and yet alright

You left and all that’s left of me
Is empty shell, a silent shroud
Held in shape through habit not me
Upright and there as though endowed
With strength and purpose despite me
And the emptiness rattling loud
With words and sighs now beyond me
Walking as though I remain unbowed

Good morning.
Today's word is another from the index of my 60yo Xword solver's book, and I've made up a clue for it.

Clue: Anaesthetic you can count on.

Have you worked it out? You should, being wordsmiths!

Answer: #Number.

Made a #myth of it. It was the only way to get a handle on it. After all, who could grasp something so big?! It became more than what it was, what it should have been. And like so many myths, it was nothing like the truth, and everyone could live with that…save the ones who remembered. #vss365

Good morning. Today's word is #myth, like the exhortation to writers that we must keep subbing until agents begin fighting over who should have the privilege of representing us.
Or the Tooth Fairy. Your choice. Have fun!

Hours go through their daily reps
Yet fleeting meetings we treasure
Follow an unequal #measure
No common time to set hearts by

Good morning.
#November11th is the day we remember with gratitude the immeasurable numbers of people who died fighting fascism. We vowed it would never happen again - but here it is. I pray it doesn't prevail.
Today's word is #measure

Her goodbye still echoes through these rooms. Ellipsis tears between fragments of arguments, brackets of what we had hanging in by a thread until the doorslam full stop. I add marginalia of regret to each page of the #literature we started but I will never finish. #vss365

Greetings! I didn't want to wake up this morning, but here I am with today's word - #literature. According to Collins that is any writing of artistic merit, which isn't much help when deciding on the genre of my books. Are they literary or pulp fiction?
I may go back to bed now.
