I can agree that announcing this sooner would have been preferable, but we did not want to announce something we did not have 100% confirmation on.

I'm going to be honest. We've been working all year to make this happen. I'm sorry the date isn't convenient, but that happens to be when the anniversary falls on.
Given Britt's passing, we thought the 25th anniversary would be a perfect year to honor her legacy.

I've already seen how this has affected my friends and loved ones. It's painful for some, scary for many. The last thing I want is for anyone to feel alone.
