I know the King5 tower couldn't do lights last year, due to repairs, but after the Trump election, it just felt like the biggest bummer. Tonight they lit the tower, and I could see them from my apartment. It brought me so much joy.
From Capitol Hill, you can see the tv towers on Queen Anne. The tower on the right is lit up in Christmas lights. King5 has been lighting the tower since 1953. It still dazzles.

Yesterday I learned that staying in touch with your elderly relatives means they sometimes gift you heirloom jewelry. I received my great aunt's class ring from 1930. I really like it.

My other favorite thing about the Liza doc, was that she still wears her Elsa Peretti pieces.

I visited a site today to change out their poster display. Last month they had me move it into a new room, and in that month, I gained a new poster stop, and it created a lot of positive feedback from the residents. I needed to hear that.

Last year my friend gifted me a balsam fir incense holder with included incense. It smells exactly like dark winter nights in the pnw by someone's wood stove. It is very comforting
