CPFC’s current run of 11 league games without conceding a first half goal is one shy of the club record 12 achieved in 1905-06 (Southern League Division Two - ended by West Ham United Reserves) and 1978-79 (Division Two - ended by Sunderland).

Both seasons ended with #CPFC winning their division.

In 1905-06, #CPFC went 14 matches in all competitions without conceding a first half goal.

In 1978-79 they went 13 matches and the current run of 11 is the best since 2011.

Sunday’s defeat at Everton was only the second time under Glasner that #CPFC had lost a Premier League game after leading at halftime.

The first was at Everton in September 2024.

They had a queuing system in place at Sandhills after the game so it was actually quite efficient getting away. Found the Everton fans all very friendly.

In August 1969, #CPFC were on a club record (tied) undefeated run of 18 games when they played their first ever league game at Goodison Park. After leading 1:0 they lost 1:2 with one of the goals conceded being a penalty.

56+ years on, and history repeats itself with a run of 19 ended the same way

They are all out of the League Cup already yes, but so were Gillingham, and as the comment began with the words "Gillingham lost as well..." (a reference to their league defeat at home to Harrogate today) he must have been looking at League games only.

Correct, and Forest Green Rovers and Scunthorpe United are also unbeaten in the English professional leagues.

But aside from those four, yes, Crystal Palace are the ONLY undefeated club.

#CPFC's current run of 18 unbeaten in all competitions is the (joint) 2nd longest by a non-"Big 6" club since the Premier League was formed in 1992.

Note: Every run to date has ended Away (quite often at Chelsea) with two ending in European Competition.
