Go was definitely a big inspiration. For me Gleam is a lot of the same ideas as Go, but with a functional perspective rather than an imperative one.

Yup! We're got a really nice web framework called Lustre for that. It can do React/Elm/etc style SPA, or it can do server-side-rendering, or it can do LiveView style server-components.
You can mix them and pick the best approach for each part of the site
