Apparently one way you need to prepare is to buy your own front door and sledgehammer, so you can hammer a way to get into the house and then replace the big hole with a door.
You can probably just repurpose the door that leads from the foyer to the other foyer.

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.

There is an old, and fairly accurate, line in politics that you should never pass laws and policies which you would not want a future government to be able to use against you. Could someone remind Labour of it please?

I hardly ever eat any red meat at all, but once in a blue moon i get a craving, and i go out and buy me a steak.
Today was such a day.
I made me an awesome rib eye steak (ate only half), with carrots and cauliflower cheese and a handful of crisps, and it was divine.

A Western Grebe my wife found huddled against an apartment building a few years ago. It was stuck because their feet are set back far on the body - better for swimming than walking - and they need a water runway to get airborne. We took it to a wildlife rehabber and it was released after a few days.
