i like to think if mutants existed irl i'd be chill, but minority issues in real life just dont work like this.

unlike what conservatives seem to think, if there is an openly gay person at a school just chilling, a load of random bystanders wont die.

Synopsis for "New Mutants (Part 2)" In his home in a suburb, a boy named Jesse wakes up. He is running late for school, unable to find his breakfast or his mother. The world outside his home initially seems empty, but he sees people in the distance. However, as he turns, those people start to burn up. At school, Jesse is approached by his girlfriend to reproach that he didn't call her back, which he explains is due to his parents' strict phone rules. The students around Jesse and eventually his girlfiend start to burn up in front of his eyes, to his horror. At night, Wolverine arrives inside a cave, where Jesse has secluded himself. Setting up a fire, Logan convinces him to come forward and join him for beers. Wolverine explains to Jesse that he is a mutant who just hit puberty, and unbeknownst to him had developed the power to radiate toxins and poisons, vaporizing anything organic within a certain radius of him. Jesse expresses that he can't live like this him. Jesse expresses that he can't live like this, and Logan assents. He also explains that they will cover up the death of the 265 or more people Jesse killed, claiming it was a chemical leak, so as to avoid backlash against the mutant community. Jesse reflects on his missed opportunities, and asks Logan to get it over with. The next morning, Wolverine alone leaves the cave

this is bit comical, the UK supreme court has effectively said:

"we decree that all lesbians (biological women, since trans women cannot be lesbians) that have been attracted to a trans woman (who they knew at the time was a trans woman), are actually attracted to men" lmao

The second core provision is section 12 of the EA 2010 which defines the protected characteristic of sexual orientation and is framed by reference to orientation towards persons of the same sex, the opposite sex, or either sex. Read fairly, references to sex in this provision can only mean biological sex. People are not sexually oriented towards those in possession of a certificate. 205. Section 12 provides as follows: “12 Sexual orientation (1) Sexual orientation means a person’s sexual orientation towards— (a) persons of the same sex, (b) persons of the opposite sex, or (c) persons of either sex. (2) In relation to the protected characteristic of sexual orientation— (a) a reference to a person who has a particular protected characteristic is a reference to a person who is of a particular sexual orientation; (b) a reference to persons who share a protected characteristic is a reference to persons who are of the same sexual orientation.” 206. Accordingly, a person with same sex orientation as a lesbian must be a female who is sexually oriented towards (or attracted to) females, and lesbians as a group are females who share the characteristic of being sexually oriented to females. This is coherent and understandable on a biological understanding of sex. On the other hand, if a GRC under section 9(1) of the GRA 2004 were to alter the meaning of sex under the EA 2010, it would mean that a trans woman (a biological male) with a GRC (so legally female) who remains sexually oriented to other females would become a same sex attracted female, in other words, a lesbian. The concept of sexual orientation towards members of a particular sex in section 12 is rendered meaningless. It would also affect the composition of the groups who share the same sexual orientation (because a trans woman with a GRC and a sexual orientation towards women would fall to be treated as a lesbian) in a similar way as described above in relation to women and girls.

While raw milk was previously banned in Irish law, since 2015, raw milk production has been regulated in accordance with the European Communities (Food and Feed Hygiene) Regulations (2009). Farmers wishing to produce more than 30 litres (6.6 imp gal; 7.9 US gal) of raw milk for human consumption are required to register with the department's Milk Hygiene Division and consent to random sampling of their products as well as regular inspections of their production facilities. The sale and consumption of raw milk has been discouraged by various food safety experts, including the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
