And cycling is not the only sport suffering. Look at the lack of infrastructure for hockey, football, basketball and other sports…

The word ‘law’ is connected with ‘legal’, but etymologically they’re entirely unrelated.

‘Law’ is related to the verbs ‘to lie’ and ‘to lay’. It comes from a Germanic word meaning “things that are laid out”.

‘Legal’ is related to ‘loyal’. Both derive from Latin ‘lēx’ (law).

And congratulations to Preston Mason too!
(Didn't have room in other post for his name.)
Extra kudos for raising a heritage breed.
We wish him much success in the future.
Reminder: without farmers we won't have food, and without young farmers, we won't have farmers in the future.
Support farmers!

A little thread.

We have very few professional bike races left on open roads in NL. There is a population density of about 500 people per km2 which makes it one of the densest populated countries in Europe. To compare, France has 121 but Belgium has almost 400 so this not he only reason.

NEED to share. A week ago a TikTok went viral of 2 Belgians pranking their grandpa by saying they don’t care about Evenepoel. The grandpa was telling his grandchildren all Remco’s achievements and how much a fan he is. Remco saw it and sent a video to the grandpa saying how much he appreciates him 🥰
