Sex is a natural, human thing. Masturbating is healthy and normal and not a "luxury" you should deprive yourself of. Seeking out help to turn your weaknesses into strengths is WAY better in the long run, and this movie misses the mark big time.

And don't give me any shit about how much it would cost to seek therapy - this movie dropped in 2002 and he's Caucasian. He could lose his wallet, get confused for a guy named Nick Fisher, who owes a mob boss 98k, and STILL afford a therapist.

In this case, A young man is choosing to undergo zero sexual gratification to better himself, instead of going to therapy to sort out his issues and problems.
