Here’s my wrapped. It was surprisingly accurate about my age.

Day eleven of learning to draw: Raptor sketched was copied from one by @ameuki.bsky.social . The lower jaw needs to be thinner.

Finished reading the Book of Enoch. It was interesting, and the influence on Judaism and early Christianity can be seen. It seems to imply a flat and hollow earth, and it does explicitly depict a hard firmament with windows for the heavenly bodies and rain. Nephilim of Genesis are shown as giants.

Everyone seems obsessed over the lynx, but I’m probably the only person who’s noticed that one newscaster.

Just watched Zootopia 2. It was cute and enjoyable like the first movie.

It’s magical every time this happens.

Another homemade pizza. Thinking of watching the first Zootopia.

Day ten of learning to draw: this is from a few days ago. To be honest, I just want to skip to the part where is can casually sketch raptor anthros lol. I pretty much have only three pressures on a pencil, and need so somehow learn how to be more flexible. I need the patience and time to learn.

Day nine of learning to draw: Drawing cubes without a ruler is tricky. It’s hard to get the 90 degree angles, and by hand you can get a warped shape. However using a ruler may look unnatural as well. I also need to remember the perspective of each individual part, and be consistent as a whole.

Art by @lt210102.bsky.social on occasion of the new security job! I really like the lighting on this one, the space can be this beautiful at night. Thank you so much!

Day eight of learning to draw. Can you guess what this is? I’m still messing up proportions. I started redrawing this, but have been using a ruler for the redraw. Should I use rulers for lines or really rely on my bare hands? I’m starting to realize that drawing cubes with 90 degree angles is tricky

Days six and seven of learning to draw. I still am off with perspective and cutting shapes together. A coworker who is a graphic designer himself gave some advice and critique on that. I also press too hard in pencil strokes. I’m finding circles are better drawn intentionally than multiple sketches.

Second time making chicken pot pie, just want to use this as an option for meals. Probably should have made more celery seed paste, and I need to figure out purchasing ingredients.

Okay, that’s more than I expected.

It’s kinda schnowy!

Day five of learning to draw. Writing or drawing text in a three dimensional space is very difficult. I also need practice drawing straight lines without a ruler. Things can look warped if I rush them. Any other criticism? I also feel like I place objects on grids and keep them there.

Day four of learning to draw. Attempted to get some practice yesterday. I still think about putting objects onto a grid when drawing them, when I see in the examples objects being positioned so that there are no vertical or diagonal lines. I also question if the examples are accurate to reality.

Good luck everyone!

Day three of drawing. Messed up one of the F’s in the first drawing. Also, some objects don’t seem to have perspective due to being too shallow. I think this is good for larger scenes. I also need to practice drawing straight lines and circles.
