When you say British, I think you mean English. Scotland never voted for that clown, but we got landed with him anyway!

Unless there really is a plan to build better infrastructure to support the hugely increased numbers, and a clearer code of expectation for visitor behaviour, be careful what you wish for.
I wonder too if the 1970s/80s Norwegian bomveg model might not help…

And with the author or the BBC’s filters, or both, we heard a US set of references (via 🇳🇱), a deregulation riff, a doom-rejectionist stance on climate change, little about the enlightenment (tho Hume got a mention) or Scotland’s values & inputs from a Tory politician and a LibDem. Oddly unbalanced.
