Please keep putting pressure on PayPal. Stories like this are becoming more and more common. Artists don’t deserve to lose their source of income over payment processors being puritanical/anti-small business.

Every time I tell stories about this, people think I'm crazy. I grew up in the 80's/90's loving the color purple and being told it was "a girly color" and it gave me a complex. I just accepted the 'who cares' mentality WAY later in my life.

did this for a mutual who wanted to know how id shaded a piece. this isnt the most realistic shading, but if you want a very quick and easy way to shade characters on a blank bg, this can work.

Also the catastrophic impact already happening on the environmental and rural communities subjected to powering the atrocious data centers.
I think there are plenty of arguments against generative ai in addition to concerns around how unethically these things are fed people’s works.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.
